TAKE A BOW

THIS post is for all the women of the world who are trying to mend a broken Heart

i'm not a love expert or  a person good at taking advice... But i know about having a broken heart....it sucks LOL.

I'm just venting on this post about heartache and trying to pick up those pieces in my current circumstance, that invisible to the eye. I know how men can get you sidetracked and off balance, all to well.

LOVE IS SOMETHING TAKEN FOR GRANTED ALL TOO OFTEN. its something played as a game for that least emotional person invested, "Its chess not checkers" said best by the character, 'Alonzo Harris' from Training Day.

GETTING involved with the wrong person or someone who is so much like yourself; if intentions aren't sincere, leads to disaster. A disaster of the worse kind... and your the one left wondering why/ how-come???

Too many times women are the ones facing scrutiny or evaluating the results of a bitter love affair because we're the ones who've held on too tight or we're held to such a standard unreachable. We're the ones who gave into benefit of the doubt = in the name of love.

So as I try to move on with life as is, I'm learning to accept mistakes of yesterday, and considering propensities of  the future.

Time can be the enemy or it can be "THE GREAT EQUALIZER"  (like death)
it can only reflect what is presented, like a  mirror.

AGAINST MY WILL I STAND BESIDE MY OWN REFLECTION

Relationships are hard work, and if the other person involved ISN'T ready to step up or compromise then there is nothing to build on; stability is forfeited and luck/karma is ultimately the downfall of what was suppose to be.

1950's vintage style pink apron

 12/23/13

Have you ever wanted to dress like a housewife would, well I have. June Cleaver may have not been a favorite feminine inspiration of mines but i sure did admire her fashion sense,  and  poise. I have always had an appreciation for vintage, traditional fashion design, and pop culture that why I couldn't wait to present to you my creation  with haste!

So I used this photo as a guide of what style apron i wanted to achieve. With good quality fabric purchased recently from the thrift store, me and Big Bertha (my sewing machine) began our journey to 3-D land with just a illustration and a theme ----PINK!

I worked on this project for about 9 days
I love the color pink so that was the main theme for the apron.

this apron is embellished with dark and light pink polyester ribbons, white medium trim. the back neckline is embellished with a medium jewel in the middle. This apron means a lot to me because it shows that my seamstress skills have drastically improved  with practice. Sewing does make me happy and it's where i feel the most comfortable
thanks for sharing my dream!!!!

thanks, stay tuned for clothing from my Delightfully * Delicious * De-lovely Collection
and upcoming vlog new sewing machine cover

I hope you guys enjoy!!!!!
